CES is on the Semester Stystem

Each academic year of study requires 32 semester credit hours . One semester hour of credit represents three hours of research and study per week for 16 weeks. Thus, a four-credit course is represented by 12 hours of study and research each week for 16 weeks.

However, students may study at their own pace and may finish their programs of study in less time than one would in the traditional "in class" approach.
